One-time Google setup
- Go to
console.cloud.google.com→ create/select a project. - APIs & Services → Library → enable Google Sheets API.
- APIs & Services → Credentials → Create credentials → API key. Restrict it to the Sheets API.
- In your spreadsheet: Share → General access → Anyone with the link: Viewer. (API-key access only works on link-viewable sheets — an unavoidable Google rule. Use OAuth later if the data must stay fully private.)
